Bravo! Winds

Bravo! Winds is for intermediate wind instrument musicians.

 

The band offers large and small group experiences in addition to the musicians' school programs. Bravo! Winds musicians begin the season at a three-day camp in the Colorado mountains where they meet their fellow band members and have an intensive musical experience with their conductor and professional coaches.

Musicians hone their musical and leadership skills with weekly rehearsals, at three or four concerts, and during a local one- to two-day tour. Bravo! Winds musicians also benefit from master classes with the conductors of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and Pikes Peak Wind Symphony, as well as side-by-side experience with the Pikes Peak Wind Symphony. For many of these musicians, they have their first opportunity to play in a professional-level venue--the Pikes Peak Center--at our Holiday and Spring concerts.
