Karl Aston

After growing up in St. Louis, MO, Karl briefly moved to Nashville to attend Lipscomb University where he studied audio production, contemporary music, and guitar. While at Lipscomb, he was active in the orchestra program, the school's jazz band as well as a small classical guitar ensemble. Realizing later that he had a passion for teaching, he moved to Searcy, AR where he received his B.A. in Instrumental Music Education with an emphasis on the viola. During his time at Harding, Karl played in the Harding Community Orchestra, played bass and guitar for the Harding Jazz Band, as well as viola in the musical pit orchestras. Karl moved to Colorado Springs in 2021 and is presently teaching orchestra at Sproul Jr. High School in the Widefield District.
