Emily Huntsman

Teacher at The Vanguard School

Emily Huntsman is a Colorado Springs Youth Symphony (CSYSA) alumnus who earned her B.A. at Fort Lewis College, double majoring in Music and Philosophy. Currently, she leads upper string beginners at the Vanguard Mozart site, plays with the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, runs a bustling private lesson studio, and tends a small permaculture homestead with Scott, her husband of 7 years. In addition to teaching and playing music, Emily loves eating her husband's cooking, reading, writing, foraging, and gardening.
