Shannon Hagan

Shannon Hagan is a hornist and music educator working in the Colorado Springs area. A native of Colorado Springs, Shannon went to Air Academy High School and is a proud CSYSA alum! Her education includes a Bachelor’s in music education from CU Boulder and a Master’s in music performance from Bard College.

Shannon teaches private horn lessons and has experience teaching elementary general music, beginning band and orchestra, and high school marching band. She has played with orchestras across the state (and the world!) including the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the Monument Hill Brass Quintet, the Pueblo Symphony, and the Norrlandsoperans Symphony Orchestra in Sweden. Her main teachers were Mike Thornton, Julia Pilant, and Barbara Currie.
