Miranda Colwell

Office Manager

Mrs. Miranda Colwell is a native of Terre Haute, Indiana, and a graduate of Parkland College, where she earned her degree in Medical Assisting in 2005. She began her career as an OB/GYN nurse in California, gaining extensive experience in patient triage, clinical care, medical office operations, and surgical scheduling. With more than a decade in the medical field, Miranda developed a strong foundation in organization, attention to detail, and team coordination.
In addition to her professional career, Miranda brings over 20 years of experience as a military spouse, where she has honed her skills in adaptability, multitasking, and community leadership. She has served in numerous volunteer and advisory roles, including Family Readiness Advisor for 2d Battalion, 11th Marines, and as a Certified LINKS Trainer, supporting military families through transition and resilience-building programs. Her dedication to service has been recognized with the Presidential Gold Award for Volunteerism.
Currently, Miranda applies her organizational expertise and collaborative leadership to the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, where she contributes to program support and team development. In her role, she manages daily office operations, coordinates schedules, streamlines administrative processes, and ensures effective communication across the team. Miranda is committed to creating efficient systems that keep programs running smoothly while fostering a welcoming and professional environment for staff, families, and community partners.
Miranda is married to Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Colwell, USMC, and together they have three children—Olyvia, Lucas, and Kayla. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Navy Midshipmen football teams.
