Mozart Summer Hoedown Camp

Kick up your heels and join the fun at A Mozart Hoedown, a lively summer camp designed especially for Mozart-level string players ready to grow their skills and confidence! Open to all violin, viola, cello, and bass Mozart students!

Running July 6-10 from 9:00-11:30AM at the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association (3113 Primrose Dr), this high-energy camp builds on what students have learned throughout the year. Through a mix of already-known and new fiddle tunes, students will strengthen their note-reading abilities while developing tone, rhythm, posture, and even ensemble skills!

Learning is woven with fun each day, as campers engage in interactive games and group activities that reinforce musical concepts in an exciting, hands-on way. Even better, students will have the chance to meet fellow Mozart-level players from different sites - forming friendships and connections that can last throughout their musical journey.

The week wraps up with a festive Hoedown performance on July 10th at 11:15AM, where families are invited to enjoy the music and celebrate all that students have accomplished.
