Manitou Chamber Music Festival
July 13 - 27, 2025
Registration Deadline
March 15, 2025
Join us for our 12th season of exceptional and inspiring chamber music at the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Building!
The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a dual-faceted performance and education event. Faculty from around the country come together to mentor young musicians in chamber music repertoire and help instill a new love of chamber music with their new innovative programming. Faculty artists mentor pre-college student musicians in small groups as they delve into the world of chamber music.
For more information on ticketing or applying for the Festival, please go to manitouchambermusicfestival.com.
The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a one-of-a-kind two week mentoring program for string chamber music. It is uniquely tailored to equip young chamber musicians to be competitive on a national level. At our two week musical retreat, you will prepare and perform one complete string quartet and one complete string quintet or piano quintet, have two daily coaching sessions and rehearse with world-class faculty, study your repertoire from a historical/theoretical perspective, attend classes and concerts, and perform for enthusiastic audiences.
Although the Manitou Chamber Music Festival is geared toward established groups, experienced individual chamber musicians are encouraged to apply as we will consider exceptional individuals on a limited basis. Because the high quality of our program requires a substantial amount of direct interaction with our faculty, we accept only a small number of applicants. We encourage you to apply early for your best chance of admission.
