Paul Nagem

Paul Nagem joined the Colorado Springs Symphony as Principal Flute in 1994, and has held the same position in the Colorado Springs Philharmonic since 2003. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, he studied there with Lois Schaefer of the Boston Symphony. Prior to that he was a student of Damian Bursill-Hall, of the San Diego Symphony and later of the Pittsburgh Symphony. In addition to his duties with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Mr. Nagem serves as Principal Flute with the Colorado Ballet Orchestra and with the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra. He is instructor of Flute at Colorado College and teaches privately in the Colorado Springs area.
