Ingrid Rodgers

Ingrid has been playing the viola since the age of 9. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from Western Illinois University, studying with Roland Vamos. She won a position as violist with the Colorado Springs Symphony (now the Philharmonic) in 1983. She is recently retired from the Philharmonic, but continues to perform with many musical groups in Colorado Springs.

Ingrid enjoys teaching private lessons for viola and violin, and is an avid hiker and dog-lover. She is happily married, has 3 grown children, a miraculous grandson, and 2 chatty granddaughters!
