Andrea Artley

Andrea Artley is a graduate of De Paul University in Chicago where she studied with Mary Stolper, Kate Lukas, and Donald Peck. She performed for over 26 years as Assistant Principal and Principal Flute with The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” in Washington, D.C. She was a frequent soloist with “Pershing’s Own” Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra in concert programs in Washington D.C., across the United States, Europe and China. She has been a featured soloist at the Mid-West Band and Orchestra clinic and was a winner of the National Flute Association 2024 Convention Performer competition. As a private flute instructor, she has regularly seen her students achieve placement in All State Band and Orchestra. She is an adjunct instructor of flute at CSU Pueblo and performs frequently in chamber recitals with a faculty wind quintet and a flute and guitar duo. Andrea is also the co-principal flute with the Pueblo Symphony and is a Miyazawa Performing Artist.
