Kaitlin Privara

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Kaitlin teaches voice lessons and also serves as the Office Manager for CSYSA and Vocal Coach for the Ascent Big Band. Mrs. Privara earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Cedarville University, learning classical and jazz voice from Beth Cram Porter and Dr. Chet Jenkins. During her time in undergrad, she served as the Music Director of CU's premier a cappella group, The Inversions. Mrs. Privara also toured with the CU Jazz Band and Symphony Orchestra as a featured vocalist, served as student conductor for the Concert Chorale, and was a 2020 member of the JECO Intercollegiate Jazz Band. Growing up, she sang and traveled with the Oberlin Choristers from Oberlin, Ohio, so organizations like CSYSA are very dear to her heart! When she's not working, Kaitlin likes hosting friends and drinking good coffee with her husband Jason.
