Renee Botton began her musical career at age 4 (which is what happens when your Mother is a piano teacher!). She begged for a violin when she was 8 and eventually studied violin and engineering at the University of Texas. After getting her MSEE at Stanford University, she went on to be an engineer for several years, but always continued to play and study violin and fiddle. Now she teaches Suzuki violin and fiddle lessons out of her house, performs with various groups around town, and is a teacher and Director for the Mozart String Project. Renee loves teaching and hopes to inspire her students with a passion for music and a love of learning.
Renee is the director of the Mozart Strings Project.
