Daryl Counsell

Daryl Counsell has taught public school orchestra classes at the elementary and middle school level for the last 23 years. He received his bachelors or Music Education at the University of Montana and a Masters of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

His first teaching job took him to the Moscow School district in Moscow, Idaho. Here he taught 4th through 6th grade orchestra in 4 elementary schools. From there he moved to Ft. Morgan, Colorado, where he taught 6th through 8th grade orchestra at Ft. Morgan Middle School. An opportunity arose for him to experience Arizona, so he moved to Lakeside-Pinetop, Arizona, where he taught 6th through 12th grade orchestra as well as choir at the Junior High and High School level.

For the last twelve years, Mr. Counsell has taught Elementary and Middle School orchestra in El Paso County School District 11 in Colorado Springs.
